About Me
I am a singer songwriter from Florida. My original music was influenced by a wide variety of styles including adult contemporary, pop, folk, alternative, jazz, contemporary Christian, classical, and musical theater. My mother once said, "You wanted to talk, and your language was music." I began taking piano lessons at age 9, wrote my first original song at age 12, and taught myself guitar at age 14. My father was a farmer who loved storms and nature, and I have always been inspired by weather.
I have been told my keyboard and vocal music sounds like the music of Carole King and Sara Barielles and that my piano music sounds like Vince Guaraldi or Suzanne Ciani. My lyrics describe my personal journey of healing, recovery, and faith.
